This two-day hands-on training course encompasses the utilization of popular neuromodulators (i.e. Botox ®, Dysport, Xeomin) and dermal fillers (i.e. Juvederm ®, Belotero ®, Restylane ®) and their proper applications for cosmetic uses. The types of both neuromodulators and dermal fillers are not limited to those previously stated, and others will be covered throughout the course. A brief historical synopsis will be provided about both types of injections, and how they have advanced in the cosmetic world. Our course will cover the important anatomical and physiological topics; as they relate to effective cosmetic treatment procedures. Emphasis will be placed on pertinent facial structures. Our training course will cover in-depth proper techniques of safety protocols, batch preparation, management of possible side effects and/or complications, potential contraindications, and proper injection techniques to use to achieve desired looks for patients. We will explore the pain management options, and how consultations with patients are conducted successfully.

This course is structured for licensed clinicians only, and to advance their knowledge of medical aesthetic treatments. The course setting is kept small, in order to provide ample time for students to engage with the instructor(s). Our small training sessions are conducive to students reaching optimal insight and success, upon completion.

Live models can be injected with the actual product by any physician that is licensed in the state of Georgia. Otherwise, saline solution will be administered unless a private training workshop is scheduled in your state of licensure. A certificate will be mailed within two weeks of successful completion of our intensive course.

Soft Tissue Augmentation Treatments

This one-day intensive training session details the wide range of options available to eliminate the appearance of aging skin. This course is tailored to address how to meet the needs of patients individually; as no one treatment option is suitable for all. Our course will cover the important anatomical and physiological topics; as they relate to effective cosmetic treatment procedures. Emphasis will be placed on pertinent facial structures and the common morphological changes that cause an aging appearance. Our experienced instructors will provide in-depth training on how to properly assess patient profiles (i.e. age, skin type, etc.) as a foundation to create a treatment plan that is effective and ideal. The varying types of augmentation treatments and their respective mechanisms of action, the effectiveness of different techniques, and how to redistribute adipose tissue seamlessly will be heavily covered throughout our course. The pertinent safety protocols, batch preparation, management of possible side effects and/or complications, and potential contraindications will also be covered. We will explore the pain management options, and how consultations with patients are conducted successfully.

This two-day intensive training session explores the utilization of laser and light treatment options, and how the systems work. The didactic physics will be covered to better understand the laser and light systems, and the restrictions of each. Our instructor(s) will present the types of laser and light treatment systems and their parameters of utilization; such as, but not limited to, Exilis, fraxel, intense-pulsed light, and photodynamic therapy. Students will explore the various environmental factors that can cause skin damage, and how to properly select the correct laser or light treatment. Students will review the skin and hair anatomy. The importance of skin preparation, selection of treatment options based on skin types, and the standard care to precede and follow treatment selections. Our course will cover the safety protocols, potential contraindications, adverse side effects and/or complications, proper patient consultation techniques, and how to achieve desired outcomes. The common treatment options will be covered thoroughly, and live demonstrations will be conducted.

This five-day comprehensive course includes the didactic of the integumentary system to cover the basics of the structures, functions, and factors that affect the integrity of the system. The classification of skin types based on the Fitzpatrick model, how to conduct a skin analysis efficiently, and how to create an effective treatment plan for patients. Also, potential environmental factors that interfere with the overall health of the skin and its rejuvenation.

Our training course will present on in-depth proper techniques of safety protocols, skin preparation, management of possible side effects and/or complications, potential contraindications, and proper use to achieve desired looks for patients. We will explore the pain management options, and how consultations with patients are conducted successfully.

Presentation of contraindications to treatment and management of adverse events. We will explore different types of chemical peels available (Glycolic, Lactic, MFA’s, Salicylic, TCA, Vitamin A Acid, and Jessner), their differences, and how they work. You will learn various application techniques for chemical peeling and microdermabrasion through practical hands-on sessions. A course specific, “How To” business model overview will be presented encompassing partnering between medical professionals, standardized procedure and protocol policies, purchasing sources, price structuring, market trends, effective marketing, development, and retention of a client base.
